R. Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor is a 1974 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, and a 1978 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. Mr. Taylor is a member of the State and Federal Bar Associations in Maine and New Hampshire. He has been practicing with the Dover, NH law firm of McNeill, Taylor & Gallo, P.A. since 1980, with an active civil trial practice.
Mr. Taylor has been practicing in the State and Federal Courts in Maine and New Hampshire since 1978. He was on the Board of Governors for the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers for many years. He is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), one of only 20 actively practicing members in New Hampshire. Mr. Taylor also maintains an active mediation and arbitration practice.
Mr. Taylor has a general litigation practice, primarily plaintiff and construction litigation, but also represents defendants and parties involved in domestic litigation. He has obtained several verdicts in excess of $1 million, and was lead counsel in the case of Krempels v. Maine Turnpike Authority, et al., which resulted in a verdict of approximately $11 million, still the largest plaintiff's verdict in Maine.
Mr. Taylor was raised in the New Hampshire Seacoast as one of 7 children. His interests include sailing, golf, surfing and baseball, and he served as president of the Rye, NH Little League from 2002-2008.
